TANK 1;

    • i use marina check valves and flow valves i think but the ones that come with the kits are also fine so far, so i've probably mixed and matched them quite a lot, same with the airline tubing; i won't be mentioning them in depth with these because i like. don't remember what's from where and they've all been interchangeable to me.

  • pawfly heater ( click )

    • well, pawfly puts their name on this, but they don't always come with pawfly branding you know... but this one works well i think.

  • pawfly 6.5w light 12" ( click )

  • plants:

    • two anubias

    • a bunch of java ferns

    • salvinias

    • i think there's an amazon sword in there

    • i don't remember the name of the moss but there's very little of it anyway.

  • life:

    • one nerite/zebra snail

    • two mystery snails

      • hope i don't regret that soon

    • and my princess guts the anxious betta splendens! he is a dumbo. that's what they're called.

  • fish food:

    • larger algae wafers for the snails. i forgot the brand at the moment it's 11:52PM.

    • northfin ( click ) and new life ( click ) for princess guts. they alternate with some fasting.

  • misc:

    • there's a very badly applied black backing.

    • a coffee mug i use as a decoration; it has a shark in the mouth.

    • there's a fake log i use to keep some of the plants in; got it from pet valu, idk the brand.

    • i have some remaining fluval betta bark, which is just almond bark. it's discontinued and i am VERY depressed about this. i will have to source more because i really like it.

    • i also just sprinkle almond leaves in every so often.

TANK 2;

    • i took the left side off, i'm testing this out, and i'm not sure if it's a permanent fixture. i wanted an air powered one, at the very least.

  • the air pump is just the same as tank 1; it has two airline outputs, so i have one leading into each tank lol.

  • tetra heater ( click )

    • i don't love this guy but it's working well enough. i had bought another heater like tank 1's but the cord wasn't long enough. i have others to try if this one dies, but it's doing well enough right now.

  • plants:

    • two more anubias

    • everything else hates being in here.

    • there's some salvinias at least

  • life:

    • a mystery snail that is quickly outgrowing this place. oh no.

    • a zebra/nerite snail.

    • my dramatic beloved star, earl of sandwich betta splendens.

    • 
    • fish food is same as above.

    • this tank has a skull hide that star sleeps in often.

    • the misc section is the same as above though, except that star doesn't give a shit about fake betta hammocks, he only uses real plants to rest his giant ass on.
